Meet our 2025 Friend of the SFF: Patrick Mency!

Patrick Mency is a passionate community-builder, dedicated entrepreneur, and proud Clay County resident whose work has brought color, connection, and creativity to streets across America. As the founder of Fuel Media Holdings, Patrick has spent more than 20 years helping cities and towns design vibrant streetscapes that support small businesses, uplift neighborhoods, and boost local economies.

Before launching Fuel, Patrick co-owned the nation’s largest bench advertising company, partnering with municipalities nationwide to provide benches and shelters that serve both practical and community-building purposes. Today, through Fuel, he continues to help communities—large and small—create smart, people-centered infrastructure while guiding local governments through innovative and revenue-generating solutions.

A graduate of Mandarin High School and attended Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ), Patrick is a die-hard Florida State Seminoles fan. Beyond his professional impact, he is a devoted family man—celebrating 13 years of marriage with his wife, Rhea, and raising twin 12-year-old boys Patrick and Peyton who keep him busy.

Patrick’s heart has always been with the community, and that’s why he chose Clay County as his permanent home. His commitment to making neighborhoods better isn’t just his work—it’s his way of life.
