Hello, I am Tony Battle, Sr., well known as Coach Battle and Deacon Battle. I have been married to my beautiful wife, Retha, for over 40 years. We have two wonderful children, Aquenda and Tony, three grandchildren, Abrionna, Marshal, Sashes, and Sariah, and two great grandchildren, Mayla and Loyal.

I attend Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church where I serve as a Deacon under the guidance of Reverand Robert Wright. I retired from the Clay County School system after 35 years of service as a coach and physical education instructor.

After graduation from Clay High School (go class of 1973!), I continued my education at Florida Junior College and Flagler College. I also attended the University of North Florida. I graduated from Edward Waters College in 1979 with a degree in physical education and a minor in health education. I also worked for 29 years as a salesman at Sears.

I am a man who truly loves God, my family, and all my friends.
